dark hobbit pipe
Having bought this pipe in March and originally loved it, having used it now for five months, and being a veteran pipe smoker lo' these 60 years, I have some post purchase criticism. First is the double chamber in the bowl. It acts like a bellows and can lead to burn out. Second, the draw is too easy, no matter how tight you pack it. Should be some resistance. Lastly, the vegetable stain comes off on your hands until the pipe is really run in, which might take a while. Otherwise, good smoke.

Hobbit pipe
My son bought this for me and it’s become one of my favorite. Not only does the bowl sit nicely in my hand the 12” stem is perfect! The distressed look of the wood on the stem give it such character and the taste when smoked has a good flavor. It seasoned very well and the bowl stays relatively cool. I will be visiting your store in the near future! Thank you for such good craftsmanship.
