This is an all natural pipe using no stains or glues. All pipes are finished with a light coat of carnuaba wax, a completely natural and human safe plant based wax.

These pipes are made-to-order, hand-carved from a block of wood just for you after your order is placed right here in my woodworking shop in the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. All orders are gift wrapped for free!

• Bowl - Oregon Myrtlewood 3" Height
• Stem - Maple 
• Depth of bowl - 1 inch
• Stem Length - 6 inches as shown in picture 
• Inside bowl diameter - 3/4 inch

This is a general listing for these pipes. The style and size of the pipe will be exactly the same, but every piece of Myrtlewood is a little different. The grain and markings on the bowl will vary slightly.

More about the materials I use:

The wood I use to create this pipe bowl is from a rare evergreen hardwood fruit tree, called the Oregon Myrtle (Umbellularia). 

Known for the wonderful spicy and woody scent, it has also been called pepperwood, spicebush, cinnamon bush, peppernut tree, mountain laurel, and Balm of Heaven. The dry wood has a color range from blonde (like maple) to brown (like walnut). It is considered a world-class tone wood and is sought after by luthiers, pipe makers and woodworkers.
