This is an all natural pipe using no stains or glues. All pipes are finished with a light coat of carnuaba wax, a completely natural and human safe plant based wax.

These pipes are made-to-order, hand-carved from a block of wood just for you after your order is placed right here in my woodworking shop in the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. All orders are gift wrapped for free!

All orders have a 3-5 day processing time after payment has been made in full.
This pipe cannot be personalized
Pipe details:

• Bowl - Oregon Myrtlewood 3" Height
• Stem - Maple
• Depth of bowl - 1 inch
• Stem Length - 6 inches as shown in picture (adding a longer stem than 8 inches may keep it from standing)
• Inside bowl diameter - 3/4 inch

This is a general listing for these pipes. The style and size of the pipe will be exactly the same, but every piece of Myrtlewood is a little different. The grain and markings on the bowl will vary slightly.

Ships in 3-5 Business Days after full payment has been made.

**International orders take up to 3-6 WEEKS to arrive. Please plan ahead if this is going to be for a gift.
More about the materials I use:

The wood I use to create this pipe bowl is from a rare evergreen hardwood fruit tree, called the Oregon Myrtle (Umbellularia).

Known for the wonderful spicy and woody scent, it has also been called pepperwood, spicebush, cinnamon bush, peppernut tree, mountain laurel, and Balm of Heaven. The dry wood has a color range from blonde (like maple) to brown (like walnut). It is considered a world-class tone wood and is sought after by luthiers, pipe makers and woodworkers.

We go to great lengths to provide a detailed description of our items, and are happy to answer any questions. With this in mind, we do not issue refunds under most circumstances. If a purchased item is for any reason damaged during transit, or defective in some way please let us know. We are more than happy to replace anything that may have gone wrong so long a a picture of the problem is sent to us. Any problems with a product must be reported to us within 30 days of the purchase to be eligible for replacement.

This was a ' love at first sight' purchase and I have not been let down. Cool to smoke, easy to hold and just set down anywhere. Now I am going to order a Lazy Hobbit without the design so I have an alternate when my Gondor rests.

Sooo, ive had this pipe for a week now and it is wonderfully made. But ive hit a snag, this is my first Myrtle pipe and ive been having a hard time breathing since smoking this. Throat tightening, not feeling like i'm getting enough air even hours after i put the pipe down. According to this, the wood isn't safe to smoke out of. Please remove all Myrtle wood pipes from your market. Im concerned for my own and others health.

    Pipe of Gondor

Posted by Tim on 10th Jan 2019

I’ve been smoking this pipe for a year, use only plain tobacco, it’s shape holds well in my hands while I smoke, I replaced the 6” stem with an 8” stem, clean it regularly. It has given me many hours on the porch contemplating the world as my thoughts drift with the smoke into the Universe...

    Gondor Pipe

Excellent pipe, make sure you read the breaking in instructions before smoking. Only wish it came with a 12 inch churchwarden stem instead of a 6 inch stem.
