This thing is absolutely fantastic, it hits well, tastes great, and has solid craftsmanship. I'll definitely be shopping here again.

I've only had the pipe a few days, but so far I am extremely satisfied. The pipe is beautiful and the bowl and stem colors accent one another fantastically. the unburnished wood of the bowl is slightly darker and more wood colored than the one pictured - which almost takes on an appearance of antler in the lighting used, but I expected that such would be the case and I am quite happy with what I got. The burnished mountain pattern is exquisitely done, and as good as they are, the pictures truly don't do this pipe justice. The pipe burns very evenly, draws great, and stays lit for a decent bit of time, but the hole is on the bottom of the bowl - creating a need for metal screens in my opinion. I happened to be lucky enough to have some on hand, but if you are planning on getting one of these pipes you should make sure you have some before it arrives. In the pipe I got, .75" brass filters are the perfect fit. The 16" stem cools the smoke quite nicely, and the bowl itself disperses heat quickly. The bowl is a little shallower than I am used to, but it certainly isn't too small. In fact, I actually prefer the shallower bowl myself as I don't particularly care for the tar-soaked tobacco at the bottom of a super deep bowl. If you are the opposite, you should consider one of the deeper pipes made by these folks, as their craftsmanship is superb. The weight of the pipe is surprisingly light too - I got the 16" stem, and I have no problem holding the pipe between my teeth while doing something with my hands for a minute. The shape of the bowl feels great sitting in my hand, and the 16" curved stem is absolutely perfect for working at a desk or sitting in an armchair. There is no difficulty removing and placing the stem, and it fits very well - when I cover the bowl and draw in, there is essentially no draw. The stem feels very sturdy too; I thought I was going to be handling this like glass, but when it arrived I was shocked by how strong it feels. Overall, 5/5 stars in all fields. This pipe is the bee's knees, and I would have gotten a second one if I had known how nice this one would be. My compliments to the crafter(s)!

Still breaking it in but draws great, doesn't go out, and easy to clean. My girl keeps getting annoyed at me hollering "YOU FOOL OF A TOOK" while smoking though.

I just received this today. This is one of the best smoking pipes I have ever owned. My father is a pipe smoker from way back and it got his approval and a bit of envy, it looks like I will be ordering another pipe from Flogglewerks very soon. Packaging was very good, it came with my tamper and some herbs and all was packed secure and well protected. It came with instructions for break in and I am following those to the letter. It smokes great, and it is VERY light. It is the first 1/3 bowl I smoked to build up the cake, looking forward to breaking it in and smoking this for years.

Though it took some time to reach me on deployment, this pipe was worth the wait! I’ll be enjoying this with some Half and Half during our extended stay. Also a small detail I appreciated was the paper and ribbon the pipe was packed in, felt very personal and much appreciated.
