I purchased this pipe a few months back. As that I am not a daily pipe smoker, it has taken me a while to break it in. Since starting with it, I have oiled the wood regularly and kept the bowl clean. It has taken on a beautiful color to the bowl and the draw on the pipe is always smooth. Right now I mostly smoke a tobacco blend called Tree Beard, but am starting to look for other smoking blends that aren't tobacco based. Being a bit of a Tolkien fan, I truly enjoy a nice bowl while I sit back and enjoy listening to on of his books on audio. The pipe is well made, and is only the first of other Flogglewerks pipes I will be adding to my collect.

This was my first pipe from Flogglewerks and will DEFINITELY not be my last. It has a wonderful look an feel that is simple and elegant. It smokes cool and I have gotten no tongue bite from smoking it. An amazing creation for a wonderful price.

The Journey Continues

I was sitting out on my porch this morning enjoying a smoke from my Haunted Maple Syrup pipe and the mail showed up and in it was my Wizard pipe along with a 16" stem that I ordered. I immediately opened the box and to no surprise the pipe and stem where flawless like my Haunted Maple Syrup pipe a real work of art. I installed the 16" stem which fit perfectly. Needles to say I had to smoke my first bowl right then and there and as with my first FloggleWerks pipe It was a very enjoyable smoke. FloggleWerks customer service is top notch as well. As I stated in my review of the Haunted Maple Syrup pipe the journey with FloggleWerks will continue. I can't wait to order my next pipe and that will be the Hobbit Runes pipe. I can't say enough about FloggleWerks and there pipes.

It's simple. All wooden, easy to clean, and is quite durable. Great addition to a pipe collection or even a first pipe. There's no filter; the boldness of the tobacco is captured perfectly.

Gorgeous & Smokes Like a Dream

This is a beautiful pipe! Not only does it smoke smooth and yummy from the very first bowl, but it is just so beautiful to look at and hold. These folks make pipes that feel like fine Shaker furniture: pure lines, simplicity, practicality, elegance, balance. And I can't say enough about their customer service. We had a large order for Father's day and some specific requests for stain etc., and not only was the communication excellent but each pipe exceeded expectations. We ordered The Wizard Pipe in a specific and unusual stain color and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. We definitely plan on becoming collectors of Flogglewerks pipes.

Just got it in today. Very nice pipe the wood has good character. Just smoked it for the first time and it was very nice. This is my first Floggleworks pipe but will not be the last.

Very well crafted pipe, beautifully shaped and the woodburning was done very nicely. The draw seems a bit loose, but i may just not be packing it right. A very well made pipe and for the price these cannot be beat.
